This Was Solitude

Elena is at a crucial moment in her life with a broken marriage and a daughter she hardly speaks to when her mother, who she never really got on with, dies. When she unexpectedly finds her mother’s written diaries and recordings she reads and listens to them almost out of desperation but this make her realize that there are many similarities between their two lives. As Elena finds out about the way her mother thought, something she knew nothing of before, she finds the necessary strength to break with her current life and start anew.
