Flying Saucers

1972. In an industrial city in Catalonia two textile workers with completely ordinary lives and jobs are found on the railway lines, beheaded. Next to them there’s a note saying: The Aliens are calling us, we belong to infinity. This takes place in Franco’s final years and Spain cannot shut out the UFO boom, a fashion which is sweeping the world. But here in Spain any type of association is investigated as a possible focus for subversion. Juan and José, who at first only wanted to use their interest in flying saucers as an escape from a boring, desolate political and cultural environment, are the victims of this rarefied, schizophrenic atmosphere.
